POCKET PANTO MISSION STATEMENT

To attract and involve a wide range of audiences, particularly those experiencing theatre for the first time, to inventive yet traditional pantomimes within their local community.

              In order to achieve this, the company has the following policies:

• To work particularly with and for people who do not normally have access to theatre for geographical, socio economic or cultural reasons
• To encourage and enable people to develop their own theatre and related skills through workshops and books
• To work to create a popular theatre form which is open, exciting and accessible for all
• To produce pantomimes which will encourage and celebrate this traditional theatre form
• To encourage and deliver new writing wherever possible 
• To examine issues of common concern to all those involved through the choice of material for workshops, projects and performances
• To challenge prejudice and bigotry through the company’s organisation, working processes and final product
• To achieve a diversity of influence that runs throughout the company’s work and consciousness
